This shoot was a collaboration between myself, acclaimed Broadway and Dance photographer Matthew Murphy, and world renowned Alvin Ailely dancer Yannick Lebrun. The concept behind the shoot was to create a fashion story that played with the ideas of feminine versus masculine, and pushed the gender boundaries. Yannick is a critically acclaimed ballet dancer, who moves with ease and control. Yet, he is incredibly muscular, strong, and masculine. In this photo series we combined the strength of his moment with the softness of the clothing to exemplify this cross section between gender identities, dark versus light, good versus evil, and beauty in all forms.
